The Housing Minister Visits LivEco @ Great House Farm

We were proud and delighted that Rebecca Evans The Housing Minister for Wales came to Great House Farm and commended us on our work over the last 2 phases. She also opened the next exciting phase of detached houses on the site

Welsh Goverment Officals, The Head of Principality Commercial and Rebeeca had a site tour from Daniel Ball of LivEco

Rebecca Evans commented after her visit

“LivEco are demonstrating that SME developers can deliver ecologically sound homes for the market, homes that make use of sustainable Welsh timber and go over and above current building regulations, and homes which keep bills low for their residents. I was interested to see how well LivEco have integrated electric car charging into their properties.

“The Welsh Government Innovative Housing Programme is supporting new ways of delivering homes for Wales - homes that will help us to reduce carbon emissions and deliver lower fuel bills. This exciting project in St Fagans demonstrates that small and medium sized private developers play an important role as we work together to deliver new homes and build sustainable communities in Wales.

“I am very clear that we have the potential to develop real expertise in innovative housing in Wales in the commercial and social housing sectors. This fund demonstrates our commitment and LivEco are showing how it can be done in the private sector.”

LivEco are also promoting the use of electric vehicles and partnering with Jaguar Land Rover and their impressive new I Pace car. We had one on show for the visit and it looked fantastic next to the Welsh Timber Homes.
