LivEco at UK Constructing Excellence Awards
LivEco were delighted to be shortlisted in the UK Constructing Excellence Awards ceremony last Friday. Our sustainable housing project at Great House Farm was entered in the Legacy Award - Sustainability category.
The winner was a community initiative called Green Cornwall, who are setting the standard for low impact development in the South West. Despite not winning, we were pleased to see that the elements and initiative of the winning entry are all reflected in our own work - energy efficiency, community values, resource management, waste reduction - and although we were disappointed, we agreed that the much greater scale of their achievements deserved the recognition.
It was a great evening all round and an honour to be there!
