Our groundbreaking housing project at Great House Farm in St Fagans won an important building industry award last Friday.
City Hall Cardiff was packed out with builders, designers, engineers and their clients and suppliers celebrating the very best of the best at the eighth annual CEW Awards.
In what has become one of the biggest events of the Welsh construction industry year, almost 500 people from the Welsh built environment supply chain united in showcasing projects and developments that have taken Wales forward and prove that collaborative working is the best way of meeting Government targets and delivering a first class infrastructure for Wales.
All of the winners demonstrate what can be achieved through collaborative procurement, investing in new systems and technology, innovation in people management and leadership, teamwork and a commitment to sustainability. Throughout the evening there was one ever present constant – a belief in looking ahead and pursuing value.
The judges said:
"Great House Farm is a clear demonstration to the house building community about what can be done and shows the benefits of a commitment to sustainability."
